Used Canon EF 14mm f/2.8 L USM II

The Canon EF 14mm f/2.8 L USM II is a fixed focal lens lente with automatic focal focus via ultrasound engine. It is suitable for both FF and APSC devices, a feature always highly appreciated especially by those who own various machine bodies and want lenses that mount in both cases. The absence of stabilization does not appear to be a problem for the final quality of the shots. The speaker is fixed but does not create problems during the shooting phase. The recovery angle is 114 degrees, ideal for panoramic or architectural photos, also considering the little distortion of the lenses, the minimum fire distance is only 20 centimeters. Compared to lenses of other houses, it appears to have very little distortion and good central sharpness, unfortunately the same cannot be said about peripheral sharpness, also chromatic aberrations along the edges can occur. The high cost and some images of the quality of the images make it unpleasant in the eyes of the experts. The Canon EF 14mm f/2.8 l USM II is ideal for photographers looking for new challenges but already own other lenses on which to rely, newbies or enthusiasts have no reason to buy such an expensive and not very versatile lens.
