Used Canon EF 200mm f/1.8 L USM

The Canon EF 200mm f/1.8 L USM lens represents one of the best accessories for owners of reflex cameras, specifically for FF and APS-C format. Even though it is currently a discontinued product, as the Japanese company produced it for 20 years between 1988 and 2008, it represented and still represents a point of reference for many professionals and photography enthusiasts. One of its main features is undoubtedly its excellent focusing ability performed via ultrasonic AF motor. Likewise, one of its main areas of improvement is the lack of image stabilization. This lens is made with solid and resistant materials and, although it is easy to handle, after prolonged use it becomes heavy and tends to tire the wrist and hands excessively. The Autofocus system does not fear the competition of modern models as it is very accurate and allows you to obtain shots characterized by remarkable sharpness. Another particularly appreciated feature is the DOF, i.e. the depth of field which, combined with the quality of the foreground images, ensures shots where the background has a particularly pleasant blur. It also has the possibility of setting a focus manually through a special selector. Ultimately we are faced with an accessory of excellent quality which, despite its age, still allows you to obtain well-made shots with particular sharpness.
