Recensione Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Usato

The Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM is a professional L series standard zoom lens with EF mount. Conceived and designed by the Japanese company and marketed from the year 2005 until the recent 2016 (now out of production) with the aim of giving continuity to the successes obtained by other lenses with high quality f/4 aperture such as the Canon EF 17-40mm f/4 L USM and the Canon 70-200mm f/4 L USM. It is characterized by an excursion that goes from a wide-angle focal length to a medium telephoto one. One of its advantages is certainly the resistance of the materials with which it is made, in fact, the lens is made up of various gaskets which give it excellent insulation from dust and sand which could damage it even seriously. Among other features we find the lens made up of eight blades, equipped with a three-stop automatic image stabilizer and which remains circular from f/4 > up to f/8 and presents an important level of defined barrel distortion especially when dealing with the shortest focal length. One of the negative points, however, is the weight (about 670 grams) which makes it slightly too bulky, but does not affect its use and above all its high performance with every photographic shot. This lens is perfectly compatible with Full Frame Reflex and APS-C Canon EF cameras.
