Recensione Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5 L II Usato
The Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5 L II is a high-end wide-angle lens produced since 2009 by the Japanese company. This lens is compatible with both FF and APSC, ideal for photographers who own both format camera bodies. It does not have autofocus and there is no image stabilization. Although it is a wide-angle lens, it does not have a wide shooting angle which settles around 84 degrees, which makes it performant in all types of photos and therefore very versatile. The lens hood is supplied and the minimum focusing distance is just over 20 centimetres. The materials and construction are excellent: resistant and durable, confirming the high quality of the Canon L series. The images are perfectly sharp in the center and do not lose quality as you move to the edges. Chromatic aberrations or distortions are minimal or zero, giving the photos a very high quality. There are no correction profiles for the lenses in post-production but it does not appear to be a serious shortcoming as the shooting defects are minimal. Weight and dimensions are average, the weight could be a negative factor for continued use but it remains in line with the average of other lenses in the category.
The Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5 L II is suitable for professionals and amateurs looking for a high-performance lens, without defects. The cost complies with the L series of the Japanese company, not very accessible but able to repay the investment with perfect photos.
