Recensione Leica CL Usato

The Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 APO EX DG HSM is a telephoto lens for FF and APS-C format. Produced and sold by the Japanese company in 2006, it was officially discontinued in 2009, therefore becoming available only in used form. Much appreciated for its solidity and resistance which is also worth the not negligible weight of 1270 grams, it offers shots with good sharpness, free of chromatic aberrations of any kind with a fairly high minimum focusing distance of 1.8 metres. It has a nine-bladed diaphragm which at night gives a performance with the so-called starry effect. It has an ultrasonic AF motor (Ring-USM), with good focusing speed and accuracy. However, the image stabilizer is absent. The external zoom rings guarantee fluid and controlled scrolling, and the line on the general aesthetic profile is pleasant and elegant. Comparable in performance and final result to a first series Nikon, it however has the advantage of the modern and effective HSM autofocus system, which therefore uses an internal motor and not that of the camera for greater precision and speed in focusing. The Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 APO EX DG HSM is the precursor to the OS version. Ideal in particular for those who want to spend a little less and start approaching optics of this caliber with professional results. The durability and resistance of the lenses and external structure make it a lens destined to last over the years and withstand intensive use without suffering. Specifically indicated for reflex cameras capable of correcting the back-focus problem.
