Recensione Leica Elmarit-R 28mm f/2.8 Usato
The Leica Elmarit R 28mm f/2.8 is one of four wide-angle lenses the company currently offers in its SLR lineup. The first version was introduced in 1970. Like all modern versions, the latest version of the Elmarit R 28mm f/2.8 is offered with ROM contacts, which will be completely useless if you plan to use this lens on a non-Leica camera .
The build quality of the lens is exceptional: all the barrels are metal as are the focus and aperture rings. The focus ring is easy to adjust while the aperture ring clicks well, moving in half f-stop increments.
The optical construction of the lens consists of 8 elements in 8 groups. the lens is quite compact and light, weighing 275 grams in 48 x 67 mm, although the inner barrel extends slightly when focused towards the foreground, thus making it a little longer. Despite its compact size and low weight, the lens seems quite sturdy. The minimum focusing distance is 30cm and the minimum aperture is f/22. the lens accepts 48mm screw-in type filters and has a snap-on metal hood.
Like all Leica SLR lenses, the Elmarit R is a full-frame lens, so when used on an APSC body with a 1.6x crop sensor, its field of view is equivalent to that of a 44mm lens on a full-frame camera. As with any other non-EF (or EF-S) mount, you must use the SLR camera in aperture or full manual mode.
The Leica Elmarit R 28mm f/2.8 is perfect for tight close-ups, capturing small details and portraiture.
