Recensione Nikon AF 20mm f/2.8 D Usato
The Nikon AF 20mm f/2.8 D is a wide-angle lens for FF and APSC formats produced by the Japanese company until 2016. Focusing is automatic and occurs via the reflex motor, there is no image stabilization. The shooting angle is the most important feature regarding this type of lens and this reaches 94.5 degrees, not excessively pushed but not too narrow either. The minimum focusing distance is 25 centimetres, excellent for macro use. The lens hood can be purchased separately, its small size and weight make it very practical and convenient to use even for photographic sessions of a certain duration. The images are characterized by excellent color rendering and notable sharpness, furthermore there are no defects such as aberrations or distortions that are annoying. Both with the open and closed diaphragm the performance is good, despite being a 2.8 it manages very well to capture the necessary lights in order to obtain good shots. The workmanship is classic of the Japanese house, giving resistance and robustness without feeling plasticky.
The Nikon AF 20mm f/2.8 D is a lens suitable for all photographers looking for a dynamic and versatile wide-angle lens, capable of being used without the classic limitations of similar lenses. The cost is very competitive and, considering that it is currently out of production, there is a good chance of finding it used and thus achieving significant financial savings. Excellent investment to increase a photographic kit.
