Focusing is automatic and occurs via the camera's internal AF motor, image stabilization is not present. The shooting angle is 84.1 degrees at 24mm focal length while it reaches 28.6 at 85mm; the minimum focusing distance is 50 centimetres. The lens hood is supplied. The new one is not very relevant as, having been out of production for a few years, it is almost impossible to find it on the market. However, there is a high chance of being able to find a used one and achieve significant financial savings. It can be a good lens to change with similar optics or to increase your photographic kit.
