Recensione Nikon AF-P DX 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G Usato
The Nikon AF-P DX 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G is a telephoto lens compatible with APSC format devices produced in 2016 by the Japanese company. Focusing is automatic and occurs via the lens' AF motor (not ultrasonic) and there is image stabilization. The shooting angle is variable based on the focal length used, ranging from 23.2 with the focal length 70 up to 5.5 with the maximum focal length (300); the minimum focusing distance is more than one meter. A lens hood is included and the weight and dimensions are in line with similar category lenses. The construction materials and resulting workmanship are faithful to Nikon quality. The images taken are of good quality, sharpness and color rendering are acceptable and there are no significant problems. At a focal length of 300 it appears to be slightly dark and the autofocus is not very fast and precise.
The Nikon AF-P DX 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G is suitable for photographers who are approaching nature photos for the first time, the zoom is excellent and manages to bring the subject closer in an optimal way. This lens is a good compromise considering the quality/price ratio. At the minimum focal length it manages to be versatile and also suitable for portrait photos or other genres that are not necessarily naturalistic; at focal length 300 it is possible to capture every detail of the subject with good sharpness and satisfactory overall quality. Being a newly produced lens it could be difficult to find it used but the cost when new is not at all demanding.
