Recensione Nikon AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8 G ED VR Usato
The Nikon AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8 G ED VR is a telephoto lens produced until 2009, then discontinued, suitable for FF and APSC format cameras. Focusing is automatic and takes place via an ultrasonic AF motor, obviously it can be deactivated via the selector on the lens body, furthermore there is image stabilization. The shooting angle changes based on the focal length used: 70mm with an angle of 34.4 while 200mm with an angle of 12.4 degrees. The minimum focusing distance is five feet, in line with other telephoto lenses although slightly above average. The lens hood is supplied but in some cases it turns out to be uncomfortable and impractical. Weight and dimensions are high but considering the category of the lens, they are within the average. The images taken are highly sharp and have faithful colors. There is a slight vignetting and the backlight performance may not be very effective. The materials are of excellent quality and capable of providing high resistance and durability.
The Nikon AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8 G ED VR is a high-end lens, suitable for photographers looking for a high-performance support capable of spanning many photographic genres. The cost is high but it could still be a good investment if you want to increase your photographic kit. Furthermore, a decisive factor is that since it is currently out of production there is a high possibility of finding it used at a good price obtaining a considerable saving.
