Nikon, which has always been a leader in the photography sector, has, since time immemorial, been concerned with creating lenses and products suitable for all the professional and amateur needs of enthusiasts. Now out of production, the Nikon AF-S 80-200mm f/2.8D IF-ED lens was a highly sought-after product from 1998 to 2003, and was created for FF and APS-C formats. This lens has a focal length of 80-200 mm and focusing occurs via ultrasound and AF motor. As a telephoto zoom, the Nikon AF-S 80-200mm f/2.8D IF-ED is a very suitable product, both for professionals and simple amateurs, for photographing sports scenes or for taking simple portraits. In fact, the product is guaranteed to offer excellent performance and high and constant brightness that is maintained for as long as necessary. Framing is more precise thanks to the rotation zoom. Focusing is possible already from 180 centimeters thanks also to the optical system which is made up of 16 lenses divided into 11 groups.
The filter diameter measures 77 millimeters and with a D-type telephoto zoom it ensures constant brightness. To obtain a more balanced color level, the Nikon AF-S 80-200mm f/2.8D IF-ED lens treats the lenses with Super Integrated Coating (SIC).
