Used Samyang 10mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS CS

The Samyang 10mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS CS is a wide-angle lens suitable only for APSC format cameras, it has been produced by the Korean company since 2013. Focusing is exclusively manual and there is no image stabilization. The shooting angle is 110.4 degrees which makes it quite wide and the minimum focusing distance is 24 centimetres. The lens hood is built-in and cannot be removed. The weight and dimensions are slightly higher than the average of other similar lenses and the front cap is bulky and uncomfortable. The materials are of good quality, guaranteeing good resistance and durability. The images are characterized by remarkable sharpness and quality colors. Distortions are easily manageable in PP as are any chromatic aberrations. The flare can be annoying and the edges may lose sharpness. The distance ring is not exactly calibrated and could cause discomfort during use, furthermore it is not possible to use filters (except plate ones).
