Used Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art

The Sigma 18-35 F/1.8 DC HSM Art is an impressive zoom lens, extremely bright and of excellent quality, produced since 2013 and available with Nikon, Canon and Sigma mount. The photos taken using this lens present colors rich in brilliance and saturation without appearing artificial, furthermore the images are very sharp both in the center and on the sides. The chromatic aberration of this zoom lens is minimal and barely noticeable mainly at the edges at 18mm; in any case, thanks to a common photo editing program, this problem can clearly be overcome. This lens, although not stabilized (a choice made by Sigma for the lenses belonging to the Art series), is super performing: the bokeh is very natural and this is also due to the 9-blade rounded diaphragm, the HSM autofocus is fast, silent and impeccable. A flaw of this product is the distortion, although minimal, but which can still be corrected with a suitable program in post-production. Ideal for: Sigma 18-35 F/1.8 DC HSM Art is, overall, a very valid lens: versatile, of excellent quality and super bright and is certainly a valid substitute for the corresponding fixed lenses both in terms of performance and brightness. Its strengths such as the solid and compact design (synonymous with quality) and the extreme brightness have made this product a valid ally.
