Recensione Tokina AF 17-35mm f/4 AT-X Pro FX Usato
The Tokina AF 17-35mm f/4 AT-X Pro FX is an excellent wide-angle lens, perfect for FF and APS-C format cameras which is characterized by a focusing that occurs via an AF motor without ultrasound and for the absence of image stabilization. It presents itself as an extremely versatile product that adapts without problems to different photographic styles.
As regards the design and construction materials, the opinion is decidedly positive as it presents itself as elegant and sinuous and with a weight that remains low; a small flaw concerns the focus ring, the use of which can cause difficulties if the lens hood is mounted.
From a performance point of view, an element that you have to deal with at any focal length is distortion, even if it is never particularly evident and can be corrected with relative ease. A decidedly favorable aspect, however, is represented by the sharpness which always remains at high levels at practically all focal lengths, even if the best performance is achieved at a distance of 24 mm. However, the chromatic quality is good with the different shades of the color range which are respected perfectly.
In conclusion, although the Tokina AF 17-35mm f/4 AT-X Pro FX can be used without problems in any circumstances, street photography and landscape shots are the areas in which the best performance is obtained.
